Abstract. The paper carries out retrospective review of school historical education of Ukraine within the period starting since 1991. Six  stages  of  the  formation  and  development  of  school  historical  education  were  separated  and  the  outstanding  characteristics  of every stage were identified. The amendments in the curriculums and history textbooks within the specified period were analyzed. The emphasis was placed on the fundamentally new approaches to the composition of curriculums. The importance of the historical education for education of a citizen whose consciousness could be hardly manipulated through misrepresentation of historical facts was made actual.

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2020-219VIII87-05

Abstract. The article focuses on spelling competence as a component of a lecturer’s professiogram in the field of linguistics disciplines. Spelling competence in the structure of professional language-communicative competence of a philologist is a part of several «subsystems»: spelling competence → linguistic competence → professional lingo-communicative competence. It is also a complex formation, which contains cognitive, operational, active, value-semantic, and behavioral components. The current article reveals the phenomenon of speech in connection with the deployment of spelling skills. Its development involves the transformation of external speech into the in- ternal, when the reproduction of a word’s image occurs automatically, and the actual linguistic process remains outside the consciousness.

V. V. Radul, O. S. Radul, A. V. Pertsov “Self” as personality development perspective

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2020-219VIII87-09

Abstract. A person becomes, from the point of view of assessment, not free, and then one goes through the path of mastering the ability to relevant standards and to self-esteem, self-correction. A person needs to acquire the ability to independent self-knowledge, without stimulation from the outside and timely correction of one’s behavior and inner state. In this direction, socialization encourages self-change, which can develop into self-development. In an altered state, a person can withstand the inertia of self-expression, subordinate  oneself  to  understandable  and  accepted  external  and  internal  requirements.  In  order  to  carry  out  civilizational  self- organization, self-determination, self-attitude, self-correction, etc., a civilizational “self” should be intensively formed. “Self” arises in sociocultural interactions under the influence of the proposed coordination criteria  – the intellectual, the motivational, the self- correcting. These criteria stimulate both the structure of individual psychic mechanisms and their integration into a common founda- tion. It is a criterion that goes beyond the scope of situationally significant normativity and makes it necessary to follow the constancy of the content of the criterion in various conditions. The one-sided “self” is disharmonious. At the same time, the harmonization of the integral “I” implies modification of the criterion content, making changes to match the characteristics of each of the other mechanisms, the emergence of “criteria branches”, and then the combination of focused lines in the proper integral criterion, has its own projections  for  each  of  the  psyche  mechanisms.  It  is  the  “I”  that  becomes  the  combination  of  the  integral  and  multifocal,  three- dimensional “I”.

L. K. Velitchenko, Xu. Bolun Family as a psychological basis for the development of the leading activity of adolescence

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2020-219VIII87-15

Abstract. The socialization possibilities of the family are considered. Using the method “Child-parent relations” (P. Troyanovskaya), we obtained data on the features of emotional (acceptance, empathy, emotional distance), communicative, interactive relationships of the parent (cooperation, decision-making, conflict, promotion of autonomy), manifestations of control (demanding, monitoring, authoritarianism, encouragement, punishment), as well as the consistency and confidence of the adult in the correctness of their parental behavior. The conclusion is formulated that it is necessary to take into account the previously formed communication mechanisms for the development of new ones in the new communication system when using a system of special training exercises built on the basis of the corresponding model of communicative transfer.
