https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2019-203VII83-05

Abstract. The article is devoted to the investigation of the process of internationalization within the context of east-Ukrainian higher and vocational education. Since 2011 the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine has transferred powers and funds for initial vocational training of workers to the regional level. However, a mechanism to monitor the needs of the regional labour market has not been created in any oblast of Ukraine. Thus, vocational schools now provide training without any information about the estimated number of workers in different professions required by regional employers. At the same time research on employers’ needs (the regional labour market) can provide a validation base for the allocation of funds for training from the state (regional) budget.

L. O. Kotlova The educational influence of the family on the formation of honesty in children

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2019-203VII83-15

The paper deals with the topic of the educational influence of the family on the formation of honesty in children. The family in the life of the child holds the first place both as a unique institute of upbringing, as the main object for imitation, and as an authority for almost all issues. The child spends more time in the family than at school and on the street, it is the only shelter for him, and his hope and support in life, it lays the foundations for the development of the child’s personality and character. Family can have the greatest positive, but also the greatest negative impact on a child’s development. Honesty is manifested in the truthfulness, the principle, the loyalty to  the  undertaken obligation,  the  sincerity  before  others  and  ourselves  in  relation  to the  motives,  which  are guided  by  the person. The task of psychological and pedagogical science is to determine the optimal conditions for the personal development of children, including the activation of psychological mechanisms, the conscious acceptance of moral standards, their transformation into an effective regulator of behavior, interpersonal relationships with other people. Nowadays, some parents deliberately delay the upbringing of honesty until later, believing that while the baby is small, it is honest in itself. Indeed, a young child does not yet have these personality traits; he or she acts as the adult requires, but when he or she performs certain actions and receives a positive or negative evaluation of his or her actions, he / she learns and approves what is considered bad. If the parents do not pay attention to the formation of the correct moral ideas in the child and do not direct its behavior, the child may resort to dishonest actions. Initially, this dishonest behavior will be random, but it will gradually become entrenched and become a habit. As a result, her first moral ideas are formed, she experiences pleasure in doing what is considered good and feelings of guilt if she is condemned. This is how the first ethical behaviors emerge in a child and the associated moral experiences are formed. The basic researches on the study of honesty in childhood are presented, the factors that influence the formation of a given moral personality quality are identified.
