Abstract. The article deals with the illumination of experience of Great Britain in organized the participating of parents, teachers and public in management of school education. Genesis of becoming of this participation is traced, the basic forms of its realization are considered. It is found out, that most full the marked participation will be realized by creation school-boards, paternal and teaching associations that operate on a national and local level.

Abstract. The article presents the differences that characterize the category «development trend» regarding its general meaning and the interpretations made by the specific field of study. The main approaches to distinguishing the development trends in the context of the pedagogical phenomenon are described. A thorough analysis of the inclusive legislature in Ukraine was applied to outline two periods in the development of the inclusive education in Ukraine, to characterize their specific trends, that provide important information about the prospects of the inclusive education development in Ukraine.

Abstract. The development of new media and rapid global technicalization and computerization of all spheres of human life – business, education, culture, etc. – make digital and media literacy proficiency an indispensable skill for everyone. In Ukraine, despite the urgent requirements of the time, media education is still fragmented and is implemented sporadically, and there is no integration of the efforts of teachers-innovators into a unified effective system of media education which is to play an indispensable role in creating civil society. Studying and analyzing experience of more advanced countries in the area of media education, means and ways of making media education really effective, not just one more subject for pro forma which school and university students do not consider interesting and useful, should become the focus of future research and discussions.

Abstract. Using authentic materials in teaching ESP is part and parcel of communicative approach methodology. Unadapted materials bring the classroom closer to real-life language use and make language learning more meaningful and engaging for students. Both a challenge and benefit for teachers though is that from a vast array of authentic materials available today, they have to choose the ones which would meet their students’ needs and expectations. Based on an ESP class taught to political science students, this article offers a suggestion on how to approach writing skills (namely, using cohesive devices) by analyzing the construction of an authentic article.

Abstract. The article deals with the motivation of students of a higher educational institution when studying a foreign language as a necessary component of the educational process. The monitoring of the level of motivation among students of HSEE of Ukraine”UMSA” of 1-2 courses, stomatological and medical faculties was conducted. The reasons that disrupt the education process of language study were determined. The most motivating factors that lead to language learning were placed. There are also advices for students how to stay motivated and for teachers how to enhance motivation.

Abstract. The article dwells on methodological foundations of higher school lecturer`s researching competences as well as developing diagnostic tools to define tendencies taking place in professional activity of a lecturer in modern conditions. The article also signifies lecturer`s main competence spheres (academic, professional and pedagogical, social and personality). Materials presented in the paper will enable the diagnostic process of modern lecturer`s competence development assessment in Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia within the framework of realization of international scientific project. The questionnaire for students and university lecturers is also presented.

Abstract. Abstract. The article includes the information about interconnections between values and value environment at school education, importance of person’s values in life and activity. The great attention is paid to values as a consciousness phenomenon and a source of relationships. The article deals with the problem of formation of students’ value system at a secondary school. The internalization of the values in an educational institution is determined by social, economic and cultural conditions of the development of Ukrainian society. Implementation of axiological approach to the development of students’ competences can be successfully carried out if their attitude to values is formed. The concept of «axiological approach» in education and its features are revealed. The features of axio- logical educational environment are represented. Development of students’ attitude to values is represented as the movement from the processes of values’ identification to personal interiorization by means of educational environment.

Abstract. The article researches the issues of interlanguage pragmatics from the pedagogical point of view. It describes a teaching experiment held at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, where the principle of explicit teaching with especial focus on pragmatic factors was applied to teaching translation from English into Ukrainian and vice versa to Ukrainian MA students, which showed a significant positive influence of the consistent application of this method by the teacher on the students’ awareness of pragmatic issues in translation.

Abstract. The article presents the results of an empirical research of the professional responsibility specifics development of future specialists of the rocket-and-space technology. It has been established that the development indicators of the professional responsibility components (cognitive, motivational-and-affective and action-behavioral) demonstrate main differences at students of various courses. At the same time, most of the studied parameters belong to the average range of development, which points at the slow and unstable process of development of professional responsibility of students.
