Abstract. The paper presents a theoretical analysis of sociality as a result of both social and pedagogical support of socialization of international students in the educational and cultural environment of a higher educational institution and an integrative quality of a person that determines the follows: the extent of penetration of international students in the new society, their adoption of the values of this society, organization of life in accordance with the rules and traditions in this society while preserving their own ethnic and cultural identity. The author identifies intercultural and socio-professional components of sociality of international students and demonstrates the content of each component.

Abstract. The article is devoted to the analysis of the scientific and educational literature on the formation of methodological competence in the system of higher education. The authors of the article have grounded the competence approach as an important means to modernize the system of pedagogical higher education; the new approaches to training students in higher education are discussed. The essence of methodological competence as a basis of fundamentalization of training of future teachers is disclosed. The article reveals the structure of methodological competence and the ways of its formation of future teachers.

T. I. Kyryan The principal trends in the development of modern higher medical education in Ukraine
Abstract. The article deals with contemporary medical education in Ukraine. In the late twentieth and early twenty-first century, higher medical education in Ukraine has undergone essential changes. These changes affect the system of education, and the educational process, and most importantly, those guidelines and criteria by which alteration occurs in the sphere of education. It is concluded that medical education in its professional orientation embodies competence-based approach and the principle of humanization most naturally. Thus, medical education has the ability to combine new principles with traditional approaches in a harmonious way and to base innovation on the solid ground of traditions.

Abstract. The article deals with the peculiarities of teaching English public speech to future statesmen based on speeches of British and American politicians. It is determined that by means of professional knowledge, experience and skills future statesman is capable of giving information richness to the public speech. However, for the public message to make necessary impact on the listener, it is essential to observe the relevant rhetorical laws in the course of its creation. For the purpose of effective teaching English public speech to future specialists in this field, peculiarities of the American and Western European model of speech behavior on the example of a political discourse have been considered.

Abstract. The article substantiates the relevance of individual social competence at all, and an elementary school teacher in the system of postgraduate education in particular. The researches relevant to the topic are briefly highlighted, the importance of defining the criteria, indicators and levels of social competence components is proved. Indicators (socio-educational and socio-psychological knowledge, a way to define them), criteria (depth, fullness, strength of socio-educational and socio-psychological knowledge, independence of their gaining and learning) level of development (high, sufficient, average, low) cognitive component of the designated competence are set out in details.

Bulgakova V. O. Legal culture of youths and personality’s adaptability
Abstract. Legal culture of youths and its formation are among the most topical issues these days, as the process of values change going on in our society is more complicated compared to previous years. Legal culture of a personality involves knowledge of laws as well as keeping with them in one’s life, work, and relations with other people. In our recent research works, we traced a connection between peculiarities of age, gender, socio-psychological conditions for education, specific character of training and professional activities of a young person and the level of his/her legal culture. In addition, the relations between the level of moral principles’ development and convictions were found. Violations of legal culture norms in most cases occur in everyday cooperation and in cases of competition between people. The most important conditions facilitating the formation of legal culture are the conditions of family education. In our subsequent research works, we demonstrated that the high level of legal culture contributed to adaptation of senior adolescents to the new conditions of their lives. The current study was aimed at identifying the level of development of legal culture and adaptability in students aged 18-19 years. Two investigation techniques were applied. According to the results of correlation analysis, it has been found that the increase of legal culture level contributes to improvement of the level of adaptive capabilities. Also, the level of corresponding to moral norms correlates with the high level of legal culture.

Abstract. The article presents the types valeological attitude questionnaire as psychodiagnostic tool to determine the severity of the resource, supporting, manipulative and deficits types of valeological attitude. In the structure of the types valeological attitude questionnaire for four its types represented. The convergent and discriminative validity of the method by determining correlations types of valeological attitude indicators with indicators of hardiness, psychological well-being, self-efficacy, motivation of giving up smoking and the types of relationship to the body were characterized.

Abstract. The article presents an analysis of the relationship of the results of hubristic motivation, self-esteem and level of aspiration of the students. Hubristic types of motivation among students are shown – high, with the dominance of the striving for superiority, and to the dominance of the striving for perfection. The differences in terms of self-esteem and level of aspiration of the students with different types of hubristic motivation are set. The correlation between the type of hubristic motivation and self-esteem, as well as the features of the level of claims is shown.

Absract. The article analyzes the problem of psychological readiness of volunteers who are working in the preparation and holding big international sports events. We distinguished the types of psychological readiness, as well as factors that make adaptation to the conditions of volunteering easier. The results of the study of two groups of respondents (a group of volunteers who took part in the Football Championship EURO UEFA 2012 and Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, as well as a group of students who plan to take part in volunteer activities).

Pospelova I., Pavlova I. Value-motivational component of consciousness politically active students in Ukraine
Abstract. The article presents the results of a study of motivational tendencies and motivational values types of representatives of contemporary students in Ukraine. Was proved that political activity as a set of manifestations of certain forms of human activity, which expressed its desire to participate actively in politics, defending their rights and interests, essentially linked to the motivational and valuable component of consciousness, among which there are the leading factors such as “security – the search for new”, “focus on political activity” and “communicative motivational orientation”. It was found that the politically active youth distinguishes focus on self-development, the need for achievements in effective, active overcoming the difficulties, the desire to deal with life’s circumstances, the tendency to neglect its own interests, focus on the implementation of group and social norms and values of independence and freedom, searching for new and deep feelings, to achieve social status, prestige.
