Abstract. Trust as a sociological construct has been widely debated in recent times. Trust has been viewed as an important “basis” of the social consensus. However, the impact and the mechanism explaining the trust functioning and it’s impact on the social relations has yet to be explored. Ronald Inglehart in his theory of postmodernization underlines the role of trust along with such important values as tolerance, responsibility, friendship and self-developing. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the empirical data of the WVS. This analysis allows us to build new ways of conceptualization of trust in social theory.

Shved O.V. Infographics of Soviet period as a cultural phenomenon
Abstract. The article describes the evolution of Soviet infographics as a cultural phenomenon from 1920s till middle of 1960s. The author underlines and pays particular attention to its agitation and propaganda background and features. She examines the influence of Vienna method of pictorial statistics on Soviet infographics during the period of functioning of IZOSTAT and its ground fathers Otto Neurath and Gerd Arntz. The history of illustrative statistics in sphere of creation of new visual language – pictograms, which were widely applied in Vienna method of pictorial statistics, is researched. Contrary to the views of foreign authors independence of native graphic method is shown, examples of illustrative statistics of illustrative albums of IZOSTAT and State Plan are being ana- lyzed.

Abstract. This article summarizes the views of J. N. Gordeyenko on the construction of the strut-braced iron viaduct in exclusive areas and the conclusions that were made by the Professor in his scientific work “Project of strut-braced iron viaduct”. Also this article describes the basic details and construction of the project, its advantages and disadvantages, the requirements of the Main society of Railways for the construction of such viaducts and the method of their assembly. At the end of the article we see the conclusion about the possibility of practical application of this project in life and possibility of works under further exploring the life and work of the outstanding scientist J. N. Gordeyenko.

In the article, the first time in the history of the study of the modern history of the Donbas discusses the role, forms and methods of activity of local institutions to organize aid front, organizing fundraisers, support for refugees and children. Bahmut county district council organized the sewing of clothes, shoes, underwear soldiers collecting food parcels, attracted to this rural community of students and intellectuals. One of the forms of charity became diverse festivals, concerts and performances. Takes care of the injured, disabled, orphans, develop measures of employment and social protection. The war caused among zemtsy revival of the Ukrainian national idea in the form of the creation of rural «hut-chitalen»- reading rooms of the Company “Prosvita”.
