E. Yu. Doubenko The factor of the prototypicalness of the source gestalt in poetic translation

Abstract.  The  article  focuses  on  those  worldview  aspects  of  poetic  imagery  that  present  a  considerable  translation  problem  since  such connceptually controversial elements of the source text may undergo different interpretations in poetic translation. The crux of the question seems to lie in the circumstance whether the conceptual content of a certain poetic sign in the source culture may be called prototypical for the poetic weltanschauung shared by the representatives of the target culture. The issue under discussion is considered in terms of the gestaltstructures of source and target signs in English-Ukrainian translation. The paper describes those translation aberrations or image defects of worldview  character  found  in  the  target  poetic  texts  that  take  place  in  case  the  gestalt  of  the  original  poetic  sign  displays  scarce prototypicality in the framework of the target cultural tradition.

O. A. Grinyak Cognitive operations of the identification of implicates

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-Ph2019-189VII55-04

Abstract.  The  article  describes  and  analyses  the  principal  ways  of  the  distinction  of  different  types  of  information  caused by  the three dimension semantic structure of the text: context factual, context conceptual, and implicit. The new and actual is the  complex method of inferential analyses of implicates based on the principles of cognitive linguistics and its branch cognitive poetics. Linguis- tic and cognitive mechanisms of the formation of implicates in poetic texts are described for the first time, the chain of cognitive operations necessary to single out implicates on the pre-textual level is logically singled out. It is mentioned that a poetic text has double phenomena: explicit and implicit. To single out implicit senses it is obligatory to make linguistic and cognitive analyses of the text dealing with its pre-conceptual, conceptual and verbal hypostases. The actual is also the description of the implicative space of modern and postmodern poetry.

Anar R. Guliyev Lexical and stylistic means of the creation Of the advertisement of modern Persian

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-Ph2019-189VII55-05

Abstract. The article examines the lexical and stylistic tools of modern Persian advertising, based on selected 100 slogans. Since the nature of the advertising slogan is multidisciplinary, its emotion depends on the choice and correspondence of lexical and stylistic tools. The study concludes that the language of the modern Persian advertising slogan is expressive. The most commonly used lexical tools in this language are positive for their weight, specific and abstract for their meaning, emotional for their sense, local for their origin, literally for their style, and polysemantic for their definition. Applied stylistic tools may include neologisms, idioms, metaphor, epithet, pun and so forth. Thus, 80% of expressiveness of slogans used in the study is achieved by lexical tools, whereas 90% of them is achieved through stylistic tools.

N. Hrozian Determinant expression of adverbial purpose syntaxemes in the contemporary Ukrainian language

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-Ph2019-189VII55-06

Abstract. The paper covers the studies of some structural-semantic peculiarities of purpose determinants on the material of the contemporary  Ukrainian  texts.  It  has  been  found  out  that  a  construction  with  purpose  spreaders  has  a  pronounced  nature  of  a  goal- orientated, sometimes intentional, activity of a subject. The interaction of semantics of both parts f a statement is typical for the con- structions with purpose determinants, when a determinant part names a casual factor and a non-determinant one expresses a conditioned factor. As a result, purpose spreaders at a meaning level are connected with the predicates of an active action which envisages the availability of a subject-being. It has been established that the sentences with purpose determinants have a pronounced pragmatic potential  due  to  their  structural-semantic  peculiarities.  Purpose  determinants  can  be  represented  by  various  lexical-morphological forms. An objective necessity and word compatibility influence a choice of a certain unit. A great variety of the means to express a purpose  in  the  text  allows  choosing  the  most  precise  determinant  for  a  certain  speech  situation, which  fits  an  illocutive  plan of  a sender the best. Minimal purpose semantic-syntactic units are correlates of purpose determinants, and they express the purpose of an action or a process and also point to the facts for which a certain action takes place. The most common morphological means of the representation of purpose minimal units are prepositional-case constructions, adverbs and participles are less common.

Abstract.  The article presents a  contrastive analysis of the stylistic features of  the English  and French songs of  the “independent scene”. Poetic language differs from prose by the division on verses. The disadvantage is that it is not clearly defined what the poetic originality of line compared to any other is.  The material of the research is independent music (often shortened to indie music or indie)  is  music  produced  independently  from  major  commercial  record  labels  or  their  subsidiaries,  a  process  that  may  include  an autonomous,  do-it-yourself  approach  to  recording  and  publishing.  It’s  relevant  to  study  this  topic  because  of  the  direction  of  the modern linguistic research on comprehensive study of different types of texts, their structural characteristics, implementing them into a number of lingual means and pragmatic function.
