Ma Fu "Teacher – student/students" system as an interactive environment for coping behavior of teenagers

https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2020-220VIII88-13

Abstract. Positional inequality of participants in pedagogical interaction, coupled with the phenomena of empathy, sympathy, and antipathy in the events of lessons, is an objective condition for the formation of coping strategies for students in accordance with their personal attitudes. Using the Lazarus-Folkman method, it was found that the highest indicators in the “escape – avoidance”, “confron- tational coping” and distancing scales. These data indicate the tendency of the surveyed students to avoid solving problems, to show some aggressiveness and conflict in behavior, somewhat devaluing the significance of the problems that arise. This suggests the idea of the “teacher-student / students” system as the main determinant of the personal experience of students, which forms the appropriate styles of coexistence in the school present. This coexistence reproduces the overall picture of socialization processes in  which the student defends his desire not only to be a person, but also a person of a certain type corresponding to the idea of the subjectivity of his own “I”.
