Yu. M. Terletska Critical Analysis of the Static and Psychopermanent Approach to the Interpretation of the Human Psychic Deprivation

http://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2018-165VI69-16

Abstract. The main aspects of critical analysis of a static and psychopermanent approach to the interpretation of the human psychic deprivation  are  revealed  in  the  article.  The  representatives  of  the  static  and  psychopermanent  approach  consider  deprivation  and psychic deprivation as the psychic state of a person, which arose as a result of dissatisfaction of needs. However, the psychic state of man is not directly related to its psychic deprivation, since in relation to mental processes, mental properties and mental formations, it is a reflection of their integrated influence over a certain period of time, that is, it is a consequence of their action. And the psychic deprivation of a person actually causes a change in the parameters of its mental processes, mental properties and mental formations, which primarily affects the quality of the functioning of the psyche. Therefore, the psychic deprivation of man should be investigated in the context of the quality of the functioning of his psyche.
