V. V. Chuiko Literary and cinematic versions of M. Khvylovy's story "Sentimental History": a common and excellent one

Abstract. The article analyzes the problem of the interaction of literature and cinema (on the material of M. Khvylovy’s story “Sentimental  History”  and  O.  Muratov’s  film  “Down  with  Shame!”).  Discovered  the  common  and  distinctive  features  of  the  firstgeneration and its adaptation. Traced methods and means of transcribing a literary work into cinema space, in particular, time and space, sound-visual images, plot and plot, the language of the first creation and its cinematic interpretation are compared and analyzed.

Abstract. At the end of the twentieth century glamour gained the meaning of the brightest phenomenon of post-industrial society and style in the Costume design. Clothes items, as carriers of visual glamour identification are associated with expressive  figuratively associative  characteristics  and  formative  principles. The  retrospect  of  glamour  clothing  style  formation  demonstrates  the  original transformation of fashionable costume forms, their structures, methods of decoration etc. The historical and cultural contexts of style formation actualize the essential problem of symbol correlation – the ideal of beauty and image in fashion.

Abstract. This article shows the place of Ukraine at the international tourism area, tourism input to Ukraine’s economy. Author gives a  comparative  analysis  of  tourism  development  indicators  in  Ukraine,  Europe,  and  a  whole world. A level of competitiveness of tourism industry in Ukraine is shown, the main problems and development perspectives of international tourism in Ukraine are revealed. The article characterizes the main strategic areas for developing tourism and resorts in Ukraine.

M. Kupalova Business Education as an Instrument of Ensuring Information Security of Family Enterprise

Abstract. The article proves the need for business education to organize the information security of family business. To confirm this opinion, the author refers to his own sociological research on “Family Business in the Kharkiv Region: A View From the Inside”, held in 2017. Research findings show that family business is in need of business education. The author describes the problems of business education in the context of information security of family business and suggests some ways to solve them. It is emphasized that business education has a  wide range of opportunities for providing representatives of  family business  with competencies in the  field of information security.

Abstract. The proposed article analyzes prey, as a military, economic, domestic tradition, which existed in the Cossack environment in the XVI – XVII centuries. Particular attention is paid to the content and substantiation of prey, including captivity, in the Cossack community. The stages of the transformation of prey and factors influencing it were also highlighted.

Abstract. The article analyzes the legislation in the sphere of timber trade. It is established that the national acts of this sphere need to be improved, significantly supplemented and brought into line with international experience. The research provides for the improvement of law enforcement and management of the forestry industry, legal trade in forest products. Some mechanisms for preventing corruption schemes and illegal timber circulation and ensuring its transparency are proposed, in particular, by improving the institution of legal liability, which will facilitate the effectiveness of the control of turnover forest wood.

Abstract. In the article the author makes an attempt to find out the features of socio-political processes in Ukraine after “Revolution of Dignity” held in 2013-2014 through predicting the voters’ electoral behavior, prognostication of new party system, possibilities and limits of forecasting the political dynamics development in Ukraine. Through analysis of sociological data and experts’ views, it is made an attempt to predict spontaneous social and political behavior of voters in today’s Ukraine as well as strategy for gaining political power by various political forces.

Abstract.  The  aim  of  this  article  is to  reveal  the  general  laws  of the  Catholic  missionary  work.  Here  Biblical,  philosophical, and theological texts are analyzed as well as evangelization itself. It is proved that the Catholic missionary paradigm consisted of two main ways: apostolic, and church-political. The first of them appeared earlier. The second one became a consequence of the unification of church and governmental interests. Nevertheless, both of them based on the texts of Scripture and the works of Catholic religious philosophers and theologians. Consequently, they appeared in the evangelization activity.

M. Kolisnyk Influence of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin’s religious philosophy on the content of the decisions of the Second Vatican Council

Abstract. The article deals with the ideas of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin that influenced the content of the documents of the Second Vatican Council. 4 key principles of his philosophical theory were stressed here: integrity in diversity; unity of material and spiritual substances; mutual usefulness of science and religion and necessity of perpetual growth for every organism and system. The conclusion is that these points determined the orientation of the Council’s documents on ecumenism; tolerance to all nations, races, and religions; taking the world’s modern conditions into account in church actions; usage scientific achievements in church education and activity.

Abstract. This article studies the student radio broadcasting format. The paper describes the process of the origin, formation and development of university radio in the United States of America and peculiarities of such format appearance in Ukraine. Determined the basic principles of the establishment of university radio stations and probable problems that hindering successful development and functioning of the format in Ukraine. Author analyzes the possibility of using the American approach to create student radio stations as a model of successful non-commercial media.

T. I. Sashchuk Modern vision of communication functions in social communication

Abstract. The study attempts to comprehend communication functions in new conditions of social communication discourse. The change in the communication paradigm and the rapid mediatization of society consitute the problematic factors determining the need for such comprehension. Among the conditions causing the change in communication functions, in fact, we examine technical along with conceptual and semantic ones. The article proves that the process of reconsidering the functions of communication in society seriously influences the development of mediaactivity, social social commenication and launches a challenge against the socialization system in a democratic society.

Abstract. In our research, we define the subject and content issues on educational topics in the social network by the example of the official page of Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University (in Facebook). The formation of the image of the university in the Internet space plays an important role in the selection of a particular educational institution, as well as the establishment of trust between future students and teachers, the administration. In the study, we use the methods of monitoring, quantitative content analysis and graphical design of the subconcepts of the KNU concept and establish the thematic issues of the official page. For us it is important, first of all, to find the points of interaction between student-teacher-administration as components of the integral image of the modern university.

Abstract. The article deals with researching the phenomenon of «volunteering» from the sociopedagogical point of view; the role of volunteering in integration autistic children into the society is underlined; the author outlines the range of problems concerning social development of the above-mentioned category that can be solved with volunteers involvement; the peculiarities of the development of children with ASD are specified. The article presents the results of the research on students’ readiness for volunteering. The influence of volunteering on the personality of volunteer is described.

Abstract. The article  reveals  the issues of correlation of  political  correctness  and ideology.  Within  the  framework of  the  work,  a parallel is made between the two indicated social phenomena. In the course of examining essential differences, a manipulative but not ideological character of political correctness is revealed. At the same time, there is a similarity in the mechanisms of the influence of ideology and political correctness on the social consciousness and society as a whole, which implies that political correctness can be studied as an ersatz ideology. The role of political correctness in macro-ideological production is revealed.
