https://doi.org/10.31174/SEND-PP2018-181VI75-19

Abstract. The article deals with psychological peculiarities of the teacher’s personal self-realization. In today’s conditions of social transformation, the self-actualization of the teacher is especially actual, his own efforts are directed towards self-improvement, self-development, self- actualization. It should be noted that the question of the self-actualization of the teacher remains relevant always, first of all, this is due to the change of generations, each subsequent changes in society, these changes affect politics, morals, religion, economics, fashion, values, etc. Self- realization is a complex concept, researchers are singled out for its study by separate components-structural components, their number, hierarchy, and interdependence are different. Self-realization of personality is manifested in the results of its activities, which is a form of objectification of needs, we can say that this is a process in which human abilities pass into the object and are embodied in it, which makes the subject become socio-cultural, or “human subject”. The activity is described not only in the external end result, but also as the subject itself: changing the world, a person changes himself. One of the main characteristics of consciousness is the presence of emotional and evaluative relationships to everything that is going on around, to other people and to oneself. This characteristic of consciousness manifests itself most clearly in such moral feelings as feeling of duty, patriotism, internationalism, and others. Experiences increase the clarity of awareness of themselves and the surrounding world, and therefore, it is an important stimulus for the activation of consciousness. Consequently, the dominant values, norms, direction determine the nature of the subject, hence the importance of studying the leading values of the teacher, which determine the specifics of individual work.
