L. D. Berezivska Twelve-year General Secondary Education Model in Unified School Project in Ukraine (1917-1920)

Abstract. The author of the article reveals the main items of the developed twelve-year general secondary education model on the basis of the analysis of the Unified School Project in Ukraine prepared by the education governing bodies. The Unified School Project  in  Ukraine  (based  on  the  following  principles:  unified  school,  national,  humanistic,  democratic,  educational,  labour  (active), individualization and differentiation of training), could have created favourable conditions for the development of national school in general, pupils’ inborn abilities and aptitudes in particular, and at the same time it could have optimally combined universal (academic) education with a core (profile) one.

S. G. Vavilina Reading strategies in teaching English for Specific Purposes to journalism students

Abstract. The article explores the  ways in which  explicit teaching techniques can enhance student’s  reading  comprehension. Proposed comprehension strategies have research-based evidence and aim to help teach journalism students reading for special purposes. Effective comprehension strategy instruction can be accomplished by following pre-, during, and after-reading stages and using leading questions, heuristic conversations or graphic organizers.

N. Zinukova Interaction of translation and interpreting competences in future interpreters’ training

Abstract.  The  article  refers  to  the  attempts  to  conceptualize  and  further  develop  theoretical  and practical  base  for  training  future interpreters. In this respect the notion of translation and interpreting competence plays a prominent role. Translation products occur as a result of the interaction between expectations of what translations should be and the translation practices as well as competences by which interpreters produce/create acceptable translations within temporal and economic constraints.

Abstract. In the article the fundamental computer model of Rutherford experiment with the order of the model and the learning process for a wide range of virtual, physical model experiments with simulated on-screen processes. Within the program model proposed to create a separate visual components that serve as virtual and physical objects can dynamically interact while working model.

T.Yu. Andriyako, M.Yu. Rossokha Characteristic of the process control system of formation of competitiveness of higher school graduates

Abstract. The article deals with the problem of managing the process of formation of competitiveness of future professionals in higher education. The essence of competitiveness of the future expert as a multi-level education, which integrates personal characteristics with quality labor force and which is manifested in their professional activities. Proposed assessment of the level of competitiveness of the formation to carry out through the formation of the appropriate level of competence that combines a system of interconnected components. It identifies the main purpose of the process of formation of competitiveness as the creation of a product of educational activities with the options that best meet the needs of its customers. As part of the process of formation of competitiveness highlights the key subprocesses, which are signs of self-control objects. Formulated the main tasks of the process control system of formation of competitiveness of future specialists, the main characteristics of this system.

Annotation. The article analyzes the pedagogical conditions of artistic and creative activity development by means of painting in a nonschool educational institutions. The priority research identifies the main psychological and pedagogical research works, devoted to the study of pedagogical conditions optimization for the development of creative individual abilities: organization of aesthetic environment; continuous  self-development  of  teacher  personal  qualities,  the  improvement  of  professional  skills,  competence;  work  with  parents  in order to create positive attitudes to the perception of children’s drawings.

O. Zhykhorska Criteria, indicators and levels of formed of professional competence of support staff of higher education institutions

Abstract. The determination of the criteria of formed of professional competence of support staff in higher education institutions open up in the article. The author defines the indicators for the cognitive, activity and personal criteria. In the article are determined three levels (sufficient, medium and low) of formed of professional competence of support staff, methods and means for diagnosing. The analysis of the criteria, indicators and levels made it possible to define the current status and predict the dynamics of formed of professional competence of support staff in higher education institutions.

V.S. Zayarna The Problem of the Non-formal Education of Children and Youth in the European Union in the Modern Ukrainian Pedagogical Science

Abstract. The article analyzes the achievements of modern Ukrainian scientists on the development of non-formal education as part of implementing the European concept of lifelong learning. The application of scientific methods of analysis, synthesis and generalization helped to organize existing Ukrainian pedagogical science approaches for the age group of subjects of educational process and procedures for implementation of the non-formal education. The works of Ukrainian scientists devoted to the European system of formal edu- cation of children and youth are analyzed. The future prospects of scientific research are defined.

O. Luchenko The establishment and development of novice teachers` professional adaptation system as a part of in-service teacher education and training in Japan

Abstract. The paper studies the establishment and development of novice teachers` professional adaptation system in Japan. On the basis  of  historical  analysis  of  in-service  teacher  education  and  training  it  was  concluded  that  novice  teachers`  initial  professional adaptation was carried out as its part from the very beginning of introduction of the new education system in 1872. It was found that from the Meiji era with the aim of elimination of professional incompetence and quality improvement of teachers a number of initial forms of novice teachers` today`s training practices were practiced. As the result of the study the division into periods of the main stages of the development of novice teachers` professional adaptation system in Japan was suggested.

L.L. Nezhyva Studying of creative works of different styles as an efficient way of speech development

Abstract. In the article it is traced new possibilities of senior student’s speech development at the literature lessons during studying of literary directions. Relating to it, it is observed the ways of work on a language: reading of creative works which represent a literary di- rection; studying of stylistic features of an artistic speech. The author suggests varying the kinds of writing works with compositions – miniatures,  which  are  written  according  to  the  vocabulary  peculiarities,  artistic  ways,  and  speech  syntactic  construction  in  different styles.

Absract. The article deals with novelty of the problem of literary development of primary school pupils because of the decrease of reading culture level and the decrease of the interest to the literature. The ways of improvement of literary reading process through preparation and provision of various types of reading lessons on the current state according to the ideas of person centred studying, developing and action, dialogic character of work with the text and the theory of cooperation.

Abstract. In article on the basis of scientific literature analysis revealed major paradigms of teacher education (behavioral, personal, constructivist, reflective) and trends in the professional development of teachers in the system of postgraduate pedagogical education USA:  focus  on  higher  education  as  a  key  to  mastering  the  profession of  teachers,  strengthening psycho-pedagogical  training;  improvement of the system of teacher training; the possibility of simultaneous training in various educational institutions.

Abstract. The article describes a model of teaching of pupils of technical professional lyceums professionally oriented English language competence in reading and ways to implement such a model in the teaching process “Foreign language” according to the following parameters: thematic units, number of hours, stages of training, exercises. The distribution of lessons within the corresponding themes are represented. Types of control and evaluation achievements of pupils of technical professional lyceums in the process of formation of professionally oriented English language competence in reading are considered.

Abstract. Professional competence of foreign language educator is an individual integral asset that presupposes organic interweaving of knowledge in didactics, psychology and language teaching methodology. This competence also manifests itself by general familiarity with specific innovative approaches and techniques in language teaching, by use of various up-to-date technologies, tools, and ways to encourage students’ learning. Professional  competence of  foreign language educators in non-linguistic schools is determined by their personal qualities that may favour their interaction with the students, affect the rate and extent of students’ ESP mastery. The educators should be able to plan their professional progress.

G. Tupikova Patriotic education of students by means of musical national symbols

Abstract. The article proves the value of the anthem “Shche ne vmerla Ukraina” as a means of patriotic education of students. The historical overview was made on the emergence and establishment of anthems as symbols of states, the means of musical expressiveness of anthems were outlined. The techniques, which do not give the desired result of education by means of music, were named. The condi- tions, under which music has more effect on the education of the person, were revealed. The application of methods and forms of patriotic education, taking into consideration the age peculiarities of students, was grounded. Historical-biographical and comparative analysis of the national anthem with other popular patriotic songs of Ukraine was made in order to use this information to optimize the activity of the patriotic youth.

Abstract. The article is devoted to define the basic qualitative and quantitative characteristics of person’s life strategy and study its impact on life satisfaction and mental health. The results of this research prove that people with higher level of consciousness of life and general subjective control on average choose and realize rational lifestyle strategy, which means consciously or unconsciously take position of an active creator of personal life, based on the values of love, beauty, art, kindness and self-development.

L. Hrydkovets War as a polytrauma and experience of life crisis of a personality

Abstract. In this article the approach to understanding war from the position of polypsychotraumatic experience of a personality is considered. The most significant components of traumatization of combatants and people caught in the midst of extreme situations related to war are represented. Immediate and remote signs of effects of traumatic events on the life of a personality are studied. A brief analysis of the results of the empirical research on the mechanisms of activation- deceleration of psyhotraumatization of an individual in terms of fighting and life risk are given.

N.O. Oleynik The internal organization of the solitude emotional experience

Abstract. The article is devoted to the investigation of the solitude phenomenon based on the author’s emotional experience model. The created theoretical model of the solitude emotional experience was confirmed by the results of the factor analysis. The selected methodologies and indexes allow to determine the peculiarities of the solitude emotional experience on four components: cognitive, emotional, behavioral, motivational and volitional. The peculiarities of such solitude emotional experience functioning were tested by the instrumentality of correlational analysis, which allowed to determine exactly how the defined components of the solitude emotional experience are interconnected. On the basis of the total index of the solitude emotional experience the optimum level of the solitude emotional experience which can stipulate the process of self-actualization is defined.

Y.V. Starova Correlation analysis of speakers of motivation, individual, cognitive and professional components of training managers

Аbstract. The article describes the results considering dynamics of components of professional training for the future tourism managers. The correlation strength of the relationship between all the components of professional training was established. This result indicates the information content of indicators of motivation, social intelligence, personal and professional components in the structure of professional training of the future managers of tourism business. The given results show the presence of certain changes in the manifestations of professional training components for the managers of tourism businesses at different stages of training.
