Bazyl L. The Gist of the Teacher-philologist's Literary Competence in the Context of Paradigmatic Changes in the Education System
Abstract. This article focuses on the underinvestigated problem of the development of the future teacher-philologists’ literal competence. On the basis of the use of methods of the theoretical and contextual analysis, synthesis, generalization and abstraction the state of knowledge of the scientific problem is established, the researches’ ideological positions in regard to determining the nature of the literary competence are singled out. For the first time the author’s definition is suggested and scientifically proved on the basis of the synthesis of research observations about the gist of this personal and professional education within system-related, synergetic, existential, personality-oriented, activity-oriented, competence-based, activity and competence-based, axiological and acmeological approaches.

Abstract. Methodology for the implementation of visual-cognitive approach through the use of algorithms and algorithmic requirements in the process of training engineering students to solve problems in mathematics is designed in the article. Didactic benefits and cognitive capabilities of the designed methodological tools for organizing and activating cognitive analytic-synthetic activity of students are emphasized. It is found that scientifically based and designed incorporation of allocated teaching tools in the process of problem solving allows accumulating the merits of problem and explanatory-illustrative methods of teaching mathematics. In addition, favorable conditions for methodically targeted assistance to students in linking studied topics and concepts to each other implic- itly and indirectly contributing to the memorization, comprehension and students’ mastering basic concepts and provisions are created in the pedagogical process. Tapping the potential of visual thinking is considered as an important parameter of influence on the optimization of the organization of students’ independent cognitive activity.

Halyan O. Agency of the individual student in the pedagogical discourse of the 20th century: problem definition
Abstact. The article highlights the importance of the historical and pedagogical approach towards the analysis of agency of students. It is determined that knowing peculiarities of the development of the idea of agency in retrospective studies of the 20th century is the basis for improving the present-day education in which interest in the personality of a student is growing. It is outlined that tendencies of forming ideas about agency in the pedagogical discourse of the 20th century were defined by the public policy in education, by social order to prepare the younger generation for life in a particular historical period. The author also points out the need for a detailed analysis of the views of leading scholars and practitioners on the essential characteristics and attributes of the ”agency of the student” as an educational category and a theoretical and methodological basis for improving the educational process.

Yershova L.M. The Phenomenon of Transformation in historical and pedagogical research of educator ideal
Abstract: Study of educator ideal in historical and pedagogical science is an interest from the point of view of analysis of him as dynamic interdisciplinary phenomenon having strong influence on public consciousness and behavior. In the article the results of analysis of concept are expounded «transformation» as a basic term, representing changes in maintenance, structure, orientation and effectiveness of educator ideal as historical and pedagogical phenomenon. Concept «transformation» it is presented as the interdisci- plinary phenomenon, uniting the concept vehicle of historical and pedagogical science with other sciences (by history, economy, literary criticism, political science, sociology, philosophy), the article of that in one or another degree is a public ideal an ideal an educator enters in the complement of that. It is shown that term «transformation» is possible to apply for denotation of all types substantial changes of basic structures and systems of certain society. The basic differences of this concept are analised with the row of contiguous is a «change», «evolution», «modernization» is «revolution», «reform», «development». Maintenance of concept «transformation» is certain as historical and pedagogical phenomenon in a few values: wide social (general form of development of the educationally-educator systems), wide pedagogical (evolution / reformation / modernisation of manner and matter of educationally- educator politics of the state on making of general strategy and program of education of new ideal of personality), narrow pedagogical (general changes are in maintenance, structure, effectiveness and orientation of ideal, arrived at by purposeful activity of teachers and educators) and maximum narrow pedagogical (concrete changes are in consciousness of certain subject of relatively basic imper- atives of his own educator ideal).

Abstract. The article focuses on the contemporary issues of children’s periodicals of some language minorities of Ukraine (Polish, Romany, Hungarian, Romanian) and the potential of using them in the educational process in schools with the national language of instruction. The content of magazines and newspapers is analyzed from the perspective of its usability in primary education. Some materials should be used for the aim of national spiritual heritage knowledge, of pupil’s communicative competence formation through mastering the language knowledge, capturing all kinds of speech activity, obtaining general ideas about literature as an art and acquisition of certain social experience.

Abstract. In the article, on the basis of analysis of psychological and educational literature, the author reveals the essence of the concept of “computer culture”. The relationship between computer skills and computer culture has been established. It is concluded that the two terms are often used in the method and have a common basis for different end result. On the basis of study of methodological sources the author shows that computing culture is an integral part of mathematical culture.

Bedan V.B. Personality prerequisites leading to loneliness
Summary. This paper considers the results of a theoretical and empirical research aimed at studying psychological characteristics of personality that accompany the loneliness experience. Revealed are the significant positive relationships between the general experience of loneliness indicator and the indicators of the personality factors (according to the FPI technique). It was empirically established that certain personality characteristics can be prerequisites for a rise of loneliness. These may be: shyness, depressivity, emotional lability, indecision, closedness, irritancy, sensitivity to a denial of contact, spontaneous aggressiveness, formality in interper- sonal relations and a fear to take an independent decision. It was proved that the personality characteristics are consistently interrelat- ed with the loneliness experience and impede a process of social integration of the personality.

Annotation. The results of the theoretical empirical research of the individual psychological features of assertiveness are presented in the article, a psychological image of assertive and unassertive individuals is given. “Questionnaire of assertiveness components” (QAC) by O. P. Sannikova, O. I. Sannikov, N. M. Podoliak, The Sixteen Personality Factor Questionnaire (or 16PF) by Raymond Cattell and static methods of data processing, such as a quantitative (correlative) and qualitative (method of “ACes” and “profiles”) result analysis were used. It was also revealed that assertiveness has correlations with a great number of personal factors (by Ray- mond Cattell), namely with such personality traits as affectothymia, self-strength, social boldness, self-sufficiency, extraversion, pragmatism and is accompanied by the absence of suspicion, guilt-proneness, frustration, anxiety. It was also established that an assertive personality is characterized by the following features: cheerfulness, self-confidence, insensitivity to criticism, vigor, spontaneity, adventurousness etc. Assertive people show emotional sensibility, emotional stability, easily get upset.

Abstract. The article presents the results of empirical research aimed at identifying and finding subjective perceptions of “adventurism”. Penchant for adventurous regarded as stable personality characteristics as defined emotional way of thinking, behavior, actions, characterized by free from any claims, actions conventions to achieve quick and easy success often without specific situation. In this work were used: a non-standardized self-report (essay) and moderation. Data were processed using content analysis. Identified emo- tional cognitive, behavioral and regulatory control characteristics adventurous.

Summary. The modern state and main directions of studying style in Psychology are presented in the article. The modern direction in investigation of decision-making styles is substantiated. The foundation of classification of decision-making styles is considered, as well as their dependence on personal qualities. Cognitive, analytical and executive components of decision-making style are defined. Besides, the author describes a complex of methods, which provides measurement of parameters of decision-making style.

Topalova I.P. Personality determinants of inclination to the cynicalness
Abstract. This paper is the presentation of the results of empirical study of the cynicalness in the system of wide range of personality traits. The urgency of the study subject is due to the growing attention to the problem of cynicism and cynicalness and the importance of study of the psychological characteristics of cynicalness as personality trait. The following was chosen as diagnostic tools: Freiburg personality inquirer (FPI) and the procedure “Self-placing on the cynicalness scale”. A number of significant connections was found between the parameters of inclination to cynicalness and personality factors under FPI: neurosality, spontaneous aggression, irritability, balance, openness, depression, reactive aggression. It was established that non cynical individuals differ by compliant behavior, restraint, cautious behavior, lack of aggressive attitude to social environment, responsibility; they have respectful attitude to moral standards, seek assertion of general human values. It is shown that cynical persons demonstrate a lack of social conformity, the desire to satisfy their desires immediately in their behavior without thinking about the consequences of their actions; they differ by over talkativeness, self-confidence, lack of restraint, variability, anxiety. It is established that such personalities elect conflict behavior as a form of protection from traumatic experiences, treat disparagingly moral values for their own benefit.

Abstract. Results of the theoretical and empirical study aimed at determination of empathy peculiarities with persons different in the level of proneness to conflicts. Proneness to conflicts is meant as a property of the personality that re- flects the frequency of his or her entering into interpersonal conflicts and the degree of his or her readiness to develop and close problematic situations in the course of social interaction by way of conflicts. Empathy is meant as a relatively stable integral property of a person that reveals itself as an ability to emotionally respond to experiences of the other person, understand his or her emotional states, foresee affective reactions of the other person in specific situations, as- pire to give an active help and assistance. Negative significant correlation relationships between the proneness to con- flict indicators and empathy indicators were obtained. Revealed and studied are the psychological characteristics of em- pathy pertaining to prone to conflicts and conflict-free personalities.

Nedybaliuk O.S. Orientation of the individual of convicted juveniles as part of the socio-psychological readiness for resocialization
Abstract. The problem of determining the components of the social and psychological readiness of convicted juveniles for resocialization was considered. It is shown that an important component of readiness of minors for resocialization is the orientation of the individual of convicts. A method for the study of the value orientations of adolescents was proposed. Based on the empirical study of individual prisoners and compared them with the schoolchildren of a comprehensive school, it was determined that the orientation of convicted juveniles to work is higher than of schoolchildren, and focus on power, kindness is lower. Conceptual approaches for correction the value orientations of juvenile offenders as part of the socio-psychological readiness for resocialization were proposed.
