Boykova K.D. The Importance of Incorporating the Competence-based Approach in Teaching ICT Students
Abstract. The article aims to provide an adequate theoretical background on the subject of key competences, competence-based approach and competency-based learning. It also presents techniques of teaching key competences and soft skills to ICT students during foreign language classes as well as the methods of successful competence assessment. The paper seeks to determine successful methods of incor- porating competence-based approach in the foreign language curriculum and to provide techniques of combining key language skills and core competences into the educational (learning) process.

Kosharna N. The General Pedagogical Content Component of Future Teachers’ Training in Ukraine
Annotation. This article considers the content of general pedagogical education in the system of teacher training in Ukraine. The content of the future teacher’s general pedagogical training is a component of the complex system of reflecting the pedagogical edu- cation which accumulates pedagogical knowledge and skills, gaining certain experience in teaching and research activities in the teaching process, forming some pedagogical values. In the process of mastering the curriculum it is formed a complicated structural formation in the system of professional and pedagogical training – general pedagogical training, the result of which is the future teacher’s readiness to his/ her professional activity. The content of each discipline of the pedagogical cycle should be formed regard- ing to the field of the future teacher’s scientific knowledge of professional activity and should be impacted on developing compo- nents of professional competence.

Podolyanchuk S.V. Indicators of research activities in the national university rankings of European countries: weight and content
Abstract. The article is devoted to the research of the weight and content of the scientific component in the national ranking of European universities. Regularities and peculiarities of evaluation of scientific sphere in national rating systems of Great Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Poland and Ukraine have been analysed. The groups in which it is reasonable to combine the indices of scientific research have been singled out, and the directions which have the most powerful representation have been determined. Depending on the purpose of the rating, clusters with a markedly different share of indicators of scientific activity in the overall rank- ings have been singled out.

Shekhavtsova S.O. The research state of the students’ subjectivities of the pedagogical specialties in their professional preparation
Abstract. The article reflects the state of the scientific research of the students’ subjectivities of the pedagogical specialties in their professional preparation. The criteria of students’ subjectivities have been determined. Each criterion is highlighted the idea of forming students’ subjectivities to the professional and pedagogical performance. The scientific methods of analysis, description and comparison have been used in order to single out of the criteria of students’ subjectivities development to the professional and pedagogical performance in the university.
Hence, the results obtained such criteria required as motivational criterion which focusing on the students’ personality; cognitive criterion characterizing the students’ readiness and their desire to self-education; the strategically performance criterion allows to determine the students’ subjectivities to self-development and the last criterion of reflection focuses on the developing students’ subjectivities to self-regulation and self-evaluation.
In conclusion the results were obtained, which pointed to the real level of students’ subjectivities. From one hand, it helps to find out the further direction of the research and, from the other, it helps to determine the necessary up-to-date pedagogical technologies during in students’ professional preparation.

Sannikova O.P. Continuality principle in the structure of personality characteristics
Summary. The continuum – hierarchical model of emotionality’ structure is presented. It is regarded as a macrosystem, which consists of the split-level and interconnected subsystems. They have the specific descriptions. These levels are distinguished as the following: formally-dynamic; content-personal and socially-imperative. The first formally-dynamic level is served as a basis for the development of the next two other levels and it includes the set of all properties, which reflect the dynamics, the activity of the psychic phenomena and the individual properties of a constitutional nature. The second content-personal level includes the actual personal characteristics such as: a system of values, orientation, needed-motivational sphere, etc. The third socially-imperative level contains the class of characteristics that reflect the features of a personality’s inclusion into a variety of public and social relations and experiencing the impact of the real social environment, social norms, cultural traditions etc.The selection of the separate subsystems is based on the differentiation; their interaction is possible through the contiguous areas and it is carried out due to the principles of integration. The continuum-hierarchical structure of a personality is presented on the basis of a system approach, which is regarded as a multi-level and multimodal system with a set of components, which interact with each other that provides its integrity.

Abstract. The article analyzes the system of methods allowing the study of communication features of children in various age groups of preschool . Namely, observing children in free communication activities, unregulated by teacher, sociometric method “Choosing a partner for a particular activity,” projection method unfinished sentences, modeling experimental situations. Separately, the technique of “cross-sectional slices” of the group structure in the process of free communication between children. These methods make it possible to get an idea of the communion of children of different ages on a set of criteria: the need for a child in different ages communication, emotional attitude to the partner of another preschooler age; initiative of children in the process of com- munication, attending to the partner of another age, sensitivity to their effects.

Annotation. In the article, the topical problem of optimism in professional activity was studied. The principal theoretical, methodological, and empirical approaches to the term of personality’s optimism were analyzed. The range of the researches which illustrate the role of optimism in the professional activity was described. The empirical research on the connection between optimism and the professional degradation of lawyers was conducted. It was found that optimism and personality’s activeness reduce the risk of lawyers’ professional degradation and promote their professional success. The conclusion on the positive impact of optimism of the lawyer’s professional ac- tivity was made.
