I. Denys (Khanas) Ukrainian tradition of baby names on the territory of Opillya

Abstract.  The  article analyzes the Ukrainian  tradition  of the naming of the baby on the territory of Opillya,  the basic  motives  of naming and traditional folk beliefs and superstitions of opolan associated with the child’s name. Slavic proper names have their own and borrowed character. Their choice was influenced by thousands of years developed a system of customs and traditions, all forms of spiritual life, which provided relative stability is quite stable socio-territorial formations.

O. Shpakovych The concept and features of supranationality of international organizations

Abstract.  The  main  task  of  the  state  in  the  field  of  law  of  international  organizations becomes  clearer  understanding  substantive action of an international organization, its capabilities , its value and position in the structure of foreign policy. Passing the state of its powers  (rights)  to  the  international  organization  is  the  basic  question of  the  whole  theory  of  supranationality.  The  answer  to  that depends precisely on understanding the philosophy of the supranational element  by the researcher. The  most important feature of supranational, firstly, is that the state transfer some of its powers of organization, and secondly, the organization should have the right to intervene in matters within the domestic jurisdiction of states, according to its constitution and, third, the organization has the right to establish rules of direct action not only for the Member States and the organs of the organization,  as well as for individuals and legal entities of the Member States. Currently, the actual direction of the law of international organizations is to study the features of the functioning of international organizations. In this regard, the author explores the definition and main features of supranationality, determines the characteristics of supranational element in the functioning of international organizations.

A. Anglova The ideological and religious interpretations of the ritual murder of old people

Abstract. The publication is devoted to the research of the ideological and religious reasons for the ritual murder of old people in archaic and traditional communities. There are different models of interpretation of the notion “geronticide”: as guarantee a worthy post-mortem existence, as sacrificial practice, as a means of communication with dead ancestors, as a ritual of the renewal of sacred power, as a medical practice etc. Probable motivation of suicidal behaviour of the old participants of the ritual was also analyzed.

Abstract. In the article the focus of research interest focuses on the process of deconstruction topology of contemporary social and cultural  space  in  the  modus  overcome  of  traditional  for  modern  binary  division  of  society  into  “private”  and  “public”.  Special emphasis is placed on the total mediatization of reality, which changes the form of social control (but in any way, nor its repressive logic), which in turn stimulates changes in the sphere of private life (its meanings, values, aesthetics, forms of manifestation).

Abstract.  The article states about the role of the social media platforms in the information society. It has been analyzed social media in the information society and studied the new media differences from old communication media. Any information space essentially depends on the sort of media. Social media can be an effective tool for establishing dialogs and links between the government and citizens. Social media play a great role in modern people’s life.

V. V. Chekalyuk Image creation of a state and its leader

Abstract. This article covers the following aspects: main principles of national mass media activity, methods of image creation of a state as well as its leader, analyses of interrelation in image creation of a state and a president in whole. The image of a state directly depends  from  the  image  of  its  leader,  in  particular  from  a  President  and  other  public  officials.  Elected  by  people,  a  leader  plays crucial role in political life of a country. This scientific study intends to provide professional analysis of an image-maker, scientist Mrs.    Chekalyuk as well as assessment-feedback of A.O. Ilyanova from the point of view of a leader’s psychological readiness to accept a public persona offered by image-makers.  This text proposes several methods how to create image and how to define terms.  Mrs. Chekalyuk treats a state image as an internal and external image of a country, which is formed and fixed in mass consciousness of citizens under influence of political leaders, distinguished men and economical, political, ecological as well as others factors.

Abstract. This article is part of a comprehensive research of the transformation of media content in the digital media environment. The author focuses on the economic factors that affect the transformation.  Duality nature of media content is particularly noticeable in era of the formation intellectual economy. In the face of fierce competition in the industry qualitative characteristics of content are in  conflict  with  quantitative  measures.  The  increase  in  distribution  channels  for  media  content  and  the  lack  of  control  over  them raises the question of monetization.

A. Kholod Specificity coverage in "Cinema newspaper" according 1930 the problems cinema of education

Abstract.  The  article  revealed  that  in  informational  materials  “Cinema  newspaper”  (1930)  on  the  activities  of  the  courses  for  the projectionist, the State Institute of Cinematography, paid attention not only to the problems of their functioning, in particular the lack of the necessary material support, educational and methodological base, an established relationship with movies specialist, but also suggests  ways  ёё  solutions,  the  effectiveness  of  which  is  motivated  by  arguments,  mathematical  calculations,  and  initiated  the beginning of the debate to strengthen collective solve the above problems.

I. Khomenko The boundaries of the possible: the categories of reliability and objectivity of the journalistic investigation

Abstract.  The  article  is  devoted  to  the  methodology  of  investigative  journalism.  To  examine  the  circumstances  that  affect  the integrity and objectivity of the conclusions of the journalist. We studied the risks inherent in the investigation as a method and not a consequence of malice. Emphasis is placed on the subjective perception of the facts and the accumulation of inaccuracies in the study of large amounts of data. The results are interpreted in terms of the systemic method (complexity theory). Empirical material was compiled using journalistic investigations of economic crimes in the energy sector.  According to the conclusions of the article, to overcome the inherent error of the investigation is possible by the special training of journalists and improving the methods of the search for truth.

O. Khvorostyna Transmediation of content in Ukrainian news sites

Abstract.  The  news  sites  take  into  account  the  special  aspects  of  perception  the  information  from  screen  and  pay  attention  to presentation the messages in various forms and on different platforms. The concept of transmediation and the areas where this term functions are defined in the article. The concepts’ borders of transmediation, multimedia, crossplatform and crossmedia are marked. It was analyzed how Ukrainian news sites present the transmedia storytelling in various forms and on different platforms.

V. Kornieiev Scientific understanding of advertising in social communication studies

Abstract. The article analyzes the scientific works, the object of which is advertising as an area of production activities. The doctoral and  PhD  theses  defended  during  the  period  2008-2015  became  the  materials  for  this  study.  The  article  traces  the  features  of involvement  of  the  object,  subject  of  the  work,  main  results  and  their  relevance  in  the  modern  scientific  discourse.  The  state  of advertising research described in the article is the result of the field development during the last 9 years, on the base of which the new directions of advertising researches may be formed.

Abstract. Using visualization of text in NGM led to the transformation of scientific and corporate publications into scientific and popular  mega  edition.  Creativity  of  H.  Hildenbrand  became  an  important  factor  in  the  formation  of  the  modern  image  of  the magazine. He was European in origin and in creative interests. By photographing ancient and modern world of European nations, the artist found himself as the bearer of humanistic values and political culture of respect and preservation of the human civilizations heritage.

Y. Polovynchak Culinary and gastronomic discourse of social media in the formation of national identity

Abstract. The article analyzes representations of gastronomic culture on the Internet which extend opportunities practices in modern mass society. The research expand the problem the links between gastronomic culture and civil identification processes. New forms of  social  solidarity  on  the  base  of  common  gastronomic  experience  that  is  shown  by  channels  of  media  and  the  Internet  are researched in the article. It deals with the socio-cultural interpretation of culinary texts of social networks. Food is interpreted as a continuation of the socio-cultural context, which is social development impact.

L. Putkalets Genre specific programs of regional television Ukraine

Abstract. It is researched the aspect of genre and theme of TV programs at the regional level in Ukraine. Regional state television is one of the subjects of the information space of independent Ukraine. On the basis of it the public broadcasting started its work. Its task is to represent the public interests. The priority is to develop the high-quality television programs. In the scientific article the activity  of  regional  state  television  of  Ukraine  is  investigated  during  the  complicated  social  processes  in  the  era  of  globalization: Euromaidan,  Revolution  of  Dignity,  economic  and  military  instability,  the  creation  of  public  broadcasting,  Russian  information attacks. Speech of regional television should be improved as well as to bring TV to public modern standards and requirements. The investigation proposed the concept of quality television programs that should be implemented at the regional level.

A. V. Strungar Information retrieval features: The relevance and significance of information resources in digital libraries

Abstract: Urgent problems of library interaction with user, that is user’s library-information services appear regardless of whether the documents, which contain the necessary information, are within the building of specific library, but depending on how good and how fast the access to them is granted, applying modern high-efficiency technologies for creation of library products. The basic concepts of information search, which could be implemented in formation of scientific digital library, are resulted in the paper. The main information constituents of scientific digital library are considered. The indexes of search pertinence and relevance performance levels, concept of plenitude and exactness of search, as well as  «losses of information» and «information noise» are considered. The chart  of  dichotomy  classification  of  digital  library  search  is  presented.  Description  of  user’s  relation  to  scientific  information  and digital documents is presented.

Abstract. The article is dedicated to the participation characteristics in the scope of journalism genres changes in new media. The main  components  of  the  participation  are  described  precisely.  There  are  given  a  few  new  definitions  considering  genres transformations  in  online  media  and  participation  concept.  The  main  kinds  of  the  participation  online  are  also  described.  In  the schematic way, there are presented possible journalism genres transformations and their result both for the author (professional or amateur journalist) and the audience.

K. Cherniak legalization of same sex-sex relations and transformations in the social institute of family

Abstract.  The  legalization  of  same-sex  relations  has  generated  many  discussions  in  nowadays  world  and  one  of  them  is  the discussion about influence of same-sex relations on the social institute of family. The study showed that same-sex relations have the impact  on  some  transformations,  such  as  changing  of  value  system,  new  forms  of  family,  obsolesces  of  the  concept  “family  life cycle”, changing of gender roles and meaningful part of the institute functions, but this impact is not always defining and takes place along with other internal and external factors.
