L.L. Babenko Ideological substantiation bolshevics of violence against Orthodox Church and its realization in Soviet Ukraine (1920 – 1930th years)

Abstract. This article is devoted to the actual problem of ideological and political conditionality for Soviet country’s antireligious policy, which was theoretically grounded by the Bolshevist party leadership. V. Lenin’s views on religious question, the place of religion in class struggle and in communist society are analyzed. V.Lenin belived that violence was the authorities’ instrument as a whole, and also the instrument in fight with religion, clergy and believers. The accent is made on antireligious propaganda’s ineffectiveness, the alterna- tive to which became Security Services’ influence strengthening in the process of antireligious strategy realization. Security Services’ directive documents, which present program and forms of struggle with the Orthodox Church, are considered.

А.M. Leshchenko Significance of extrapolation during the process of perception of the Christian art symbols by the believer

Abstract. The article describes peculiarities of the Christian artistic symbol impact on the believer through the mechanism of extrapolation. The phenomenon «art sacred symbol» is meant as a compound sacred image of dual meaning materializing in a work of the Christian sacred art due to the artistic image as a means; and which, in a condensed encoded and structured way, contains energy-rich reso- nance and consonance, in nature, information on two interrelated and opposite in meaning senses: sacred-irrational, trans-virtual Divine and human. It is proved that perception of the sense of the Christian artistic symbol requires decoding and recoding of its sense by a man, the mechanism of extrapolation makes it possible to a believer to decode the imaginary sense by himself, giving it certain sacred sense.

A. Garbadyn The principle of M.Mamardashvili’s three "K" in the study of political consciousness

Abstract. It is shown that the essence of the first “K” is in the explanation of the political consciousness that the individual has the right and  opportunity  to  express  themselves  and  their  own  position,  whatever  circumstances  and  reasons  would  not  cause  the  reverse influence. In case of not realization of the principle,  the free functioning of political consciousness is replaced by other mechanisms such as social security, moral compass or ideology.  It is proved that the essence of the second “K” is in the explanation of the politics itself as subjective area manifestation of political consciousness in general, the logic of forming individual’s critical judgment. It was found out that the essence of the third “K” should be considered as the need of confirmation the reflectivity of understanding the political and social discourse.

I. Kiyanka The phenomenon of populism in Ukrainian and foreign literature (historiographical example)

Abstract. We analyze the content of populism as a phenomenon in historiographic example. The problem of interaction between populism  and  politics.  The  problems  of  populism  is  studied  through  the  prism  of  Ukrainian  and  foreign  scientists.  Highlight  the  required conditions and factors of populism in different periods of history. Author analyzed the problem of populism in Ukrainian politics.  In Ukrainian literature interest in populism appeared in the late 1990s. The initial study was the basis of his reception of analytical findings  Western  scholars.  Today  domestic  historiography  populism  presented  a  number  of  papers  in  the  form  of  articles.  Amid  the general characteristics of the phenomenon of populism, based primarily on the legacy of Western political scientists, highlights particular issues such as manifestations of populism in the Ukrainian national movement, modern Ukrainian politics populist methods of political struggle, philosophical discourse of the concept. The attention of researchers attract manifestations of populism in the actual political landscape of Eastern Europe. The researchers also pointed to the populist part in the activities of almost all Ukrainian political parties, the relationship between populism and representative features of national crisis the party system. At the same time we can point to considerable differences and disagreements scientists. This comprehensive, integrated analytical study of populism in Ukrainian historiography until now not been created. In summary, we can emphasize the following points. The largest component of the literature on populism, form publications focused on the history or contemporary realities of certain populist regimes, movements or parties, populist politicians and others. Some of them, as, for example, the history of populist parties in the US are the subject of scientific debate for several decades, and marked a noticeable evolution assessments and conclusions of researchers.

The evolution of relationship between hetman power and «pro-Moscow» oppositional starshyna is considered. The mechanisms and methods which were used by the Moscow government in fighting against hetman I. Vygovsky are investigated.

K.Ye. Smyrnova Comparative Analysis of Transition in Tunisia and Egypt (2011-2015)

Abstract. The article deals with the comparative study of the transformational changes in two Arab countries – Tunisia and Egypt, which witnessed revolutionary movements’ development in the end of 2010, beginning of 2011. Ousting their dictators of power launched the process of political transition, which led to the establishment of a democratic regime in one of the countries, and the restoration of authoritarianism in a more harsh military-bureaucratic form in the other. The author examines the reasons for Tunisia’s success and failure of Egypt in their democratization efforts and determine the factors that led to such an outcome making a conclusion about the importance of both structural conditions and procedural factors.

Abstract. The article attempts to define the place and importance of information genres in modern online media (based on the coverage of one event). For this purpose, there were clarified the tendencies of changes in information genres of online media; there was clarified the compliance to classical paradigms of information genres on the internet; there are distinguished the tendencies of presenting information genres in the online media.

K. Horska Terminology concepts of media content in the theory of mass communication

Abstract. The article is devoted to the formation of terminological sphere of mass communication. The author draws attention to the prevalence of the interdisciplinary nature of the terms  and the lack of  a systematic  approach in its structuring and unification on the conceptual, lexical-semantic and derivational levels. Special attention is given to definition of the term “media content”, its connotations, characteristics of existence in the scientific media discourse and implementation at the terminological systems of communication theory. Ways to overcome the different interpretations of the term  and its  semantic  correlation  with the  functional characteristics of  modern media.

Abstract. The article deals with the relevant lines of social communication researches conducted by the Ukrainian scientists. Basing on the thematic analysis it was selected the works which were of interest for scientific, educational and industrial fields of activity; it was analyzed the peculiarities of scientific approaches and accented the most important prospects of use of the results of selected works. Abstract:  The  article  deals  with  the  mechanisms  of  formation  of  information  competence  of  the  audience  of  editions  related  to building and renovation. It is analyzed the meaning of notion of information competence, its place in the structure of information culture  of  the  society.  Basing  on  analysis  of  empirical  data  it  was  ascertained  information,  semantic  and  visual  components  of formation of information competence of the audience; it was defined typical models of creation of awareness among the audience for the object of research; it was ascertained the trends of updating the mechanisms to improve information competencies.
